The boys’ team continued its quest for a fifth section title with a win over Chartiers Valley.
In competing against a team with only a few swimmers, the boys were able to try other events in order to set times for future meets.
Senior Jack Mickle and Sophomore Sam Moose posted their best times in the 50 Free, finishing 2nd and 3rd. Jack also went on to take first place in the 100 Free and Sam took 2nd in the 100 Fly.
Senior Gavin Nolf took first place in both the 200 and 500 Free, dropping time in both events. Senior Carson Gaitens took 1st place in the 100 Fly and 2nd in the 100 Back. Senior Sam Nicolella stepped up posting a respectable time in the 50 Free in addition to dropping time in the 100 Breast.
Senior Evan Walker contributed 7 points in the 100 Free and 100 Breast. Senior Garrett Nolf continued to drop time in the 100 Fly and also tried out the 500 coming inn at 3rd place.
Sophomore Daniel Badger took a night off from long distance to finish 3rd in both the 200 Free and 100 Free. Freshman Wesley Brehm tried on the 200 IM for size and posted the second fastest time on the team this year as well as the 100 Back.
