Running on back to back days is typically not recommended but that’s exactly what the girls did today. The Cougars traveled to CalU to compete in the TSTCA Championships. Despite tired legs the girls ran extremely well utilizing the race as a preview of the WPIAL Championships. Less than a week after Gwen Kalimon ran the first sub 24 minute time in two years, Brooklyn Prepelka did just the same. Brook didn’t let the fatigue from the previous day’s race slow her down and posted a very solid 23:59 while finishing 27th. This was the final warmup heading into next weeks WPIALs.
