In the first and only out of section game of the season, the Cougars won against OLSH in 5 sets. This was a competitive, yet fun game for the girls. They started out strong in the first set, but unfortunately lost by 4 points. The turned the tides and beat OLSH in the second by 4 points. They took the lead in the third, but OLSH evened out the score in the 4. Finally, Carlynton was able to fight through the fifth set and end the game by 2 points.

Madison Ciabattoni led the team with 25 digs. This is a career high for this season. Emmaline Stevens followed with 13 digs. Tanner Kephart dug 10.

Emmaline Stevens earned 18 kills. Natali Lutsiv earned 8, Brenna Ault earned 6, Brooke Maxwell earned 3, Tanner and Taylor Zaletski earned 2 each.

The team had a record amount of blocks in one game for this season last night, totaling 13 blocks. Emmaline earned 4, Taylor and Brenna earned 3 each, Jaime Williams earned 2, and Brooke earned 1.

Emmaline led the team with 7 aces, Natali followed with 4, Joann Hussain with 3, Brenna with 2, and Tanner with 1.

The girls play another in-section game on Thursday against Seton LaSalle. They beat them in four sets when they played them at home in the beginning of the month and are hoping to do the same when they see them in their gym.
